Tyler Smith

I’m Tyler Smith, I’m currently the Team Lead in our Portland Maine office. I was born and raised in Southern Maine, I went to the University of Maine – Orono for a degree in Finance and economics.

I started my sales career right out of college working for a major insurance company, moving to CREFCO, now Society Mortgage in 2015. Since then, I’ve really tried refine the borrowers loan process to best accommodate their needs and desires. Although the mortgage process can be daunting, it’s the Loan officers job to lead the process from initial credit pull to closing as easily as possible.

Since taking over as Team Lead I’ve had the opportunity to train and educate a large portion of the officers in this office. I strive everyday to improve their skills and my own to provide the best loan experience possible as well as Fostering realtor and borrower relationships the best we can.

I currently live in beautiful Southern Maine with my wife and children, enjoying the beaches and the ocean in the summer. I’m an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, trying to get in the woods or on the water whenever I can.
